Annual Awards Banquet

Forest City TKD hosts a yearly awards banquet for the Art of Seikido. Once a year, usually around Christmas time, all Seikido Schools get together for fellowship and a celebration of the last year's events.

During this event, awards are presented to individual students who exemplify the tenants of Seikido; courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control and harmony. Awards specific to the Seikido Schools are also presented to their students. In addition to the awards, those students who have tested for their Black Belt as well as those Black Belts who have been promoted to a new Dan level are issued with their Black Belt certificates. A night of fun and dancing complete this yearly tradition.
